Established in 2014, Bare Bear Waxing is a small, locally-owned women-only salon, with a big reputation for high quality service. We are located in The Village in NW OKC where we primarily perform expert Brazilian Bikini Waxing. We gain the loyalty of our clients and earn their trust by giving them an exceptional and comfortable waxing experience with great results. As the Owner & Manager of Bare Bear Waxing, I operate as a guide, facilitator, and support for my team. I provide everything necessary for my team to work efficiently and at a healthy pace, so they can enjoy their work and are able to take the best care of our guests.

Position Requirements:
​

• Very punctual, mature, & self-managing
• Ability to quickly learn & use an iPad and understand the operation of online booking and POS systems (we are completely digital and currently use Vagaro)
• Possess confidence and ability to enforce salon policies
• Waxing Specialist: Current Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology Esthetician/Facialist or Cosmetology License
• Waxing Specialist: Brazilian Waxing experience in a professional setting (1yr minimum is preferred, not including school)

These positions start out part-time with growth potential to full-time. (20 hours minimum, 36 hours full time). Our regular hours are:

Wed & Thrs  9:30am - 6:30pm
Fri & Sat  8:30am - 4:15pm
We are currently closed on Sundays, Mondays, & Tuesdays

Specific hours and compensation will be discussed during the interview process. I pay a base hourly-salary hybrid, with a guaranteed a minimum number of paid hours you can count on every pay period. Though I offer perks, formal benefits are not currently offered but are in the works & will be offered for those who's goal is to be full-time.
