At Bare Bear Waxing, we value your time and ours and are committed to providing all of our guests with exceptional service. Since we reserve time especially for you, please provide as much notice as possible when making changes to your appointment or services. Working by appointment is our livelihood, and giving us advanced notice allows us a better opportunity to book another guest in your place. The following policies helps ensure we can provide the best service to all our clients while respecting everyone's schedule. Please review our policies with care before booking.
How to Make Changes to Your Appointment or Services
If you want to change the services you have booked, or need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, you must do so by 5:00 PM the day before your scheduled time to avoid a late notice fee. Larger appointments require 48-72 hours notice.
Services Over $100 and $150 For appointments with services totaling $150 or more, we require at least 72 hours notice to cancel or make any changes to the services booked. For appointments totaling $100 or more, we require at least 48 hours notice.
Credit or Debit Card on File Requirement We do not require pre-payment or charge deposits to book appointments (see below for exceptions). However, a valid credit or debit card is required to be stored securely in your profile in our booking system in accordance with this policy and may be used as the form of payment for the late notice fee in the event an appointment is changed, canceled, or rescheduled after the cut-off times stated above. Card information is kept safely secured and encrypted in our system, and it can only be viewed or edited by you once it is saved. You have the option to use your card on file to pay for your services or you may use a different card or cash. Alternatives: If you do not want to keep a card on file you may receive waxing services on a walk-in basis or keep a gift card on file as a deposit. Policy Compliance & Non-Refundable Deposits Clients who repeatedly disregard our policies—such as arriving late, providing insufficient notice, or missing appointments—may be subject to booking restrictions. This may include being required to pre-pay in full or reserve with a non-refundable deposit.
Canceling Due to Illness or Exposure If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone with symptoms of a contagious condition, please cancel your appointment asap. Do not wait to see if you feel better by your appointment.
Punctuality
Appointment Confirmations We require confirmation for all appointments to help us manage our schedule with certainty and respect everyone's time.
We do not make exceptions for late notice of service changes, cancellations, reschedules, or no-shows, as this policy applies to all clients equally. Thank you for understanding and respecting our policies. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you!
