Bare Bear Waxing Health & Safety Policy
Previously our Covid-19 Pandemic Notice - Updated April 2025
All licensed professionals in the Cosmetology and Barber industry have been trained to a national standard to mitigate health & safety risks significantly through the use of proper infection control standards required by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering regulatory licensing rules and regulations. We take health and safety very seriously and care deeply about creating a safe, clean, and respectful environment for everyone in our space. Below are some enhancements we are maintaining to compliment those existing policies, due to the unique challenges brought forth by the Covid-19 pandemic. We kindly ask all guests to follow these guidelines:
Canceling Due to Illness or Exposure
If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone with symptoms of illness, flu, COVID-19, or other contagious conditions, please cancel your appointment asap. Do not wait until the last minute to see if you feel better by your appointment time. We do not charge a late notice fee for illness-related cancellations if you notify us as soon as possible and are in good standing. We appreciate your honesty in helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Please do not arrive sick
If you arrive to your appointment showing any symptoms of illness, including cough, sore throat, fever, sneezing, or any contagious condition, you will be refused service and asked to leave immediately. Clients who arrive sick or knowingly expose our team to illness may be charged a $50 health and safety violation fee along with the applicable late cancelation fee according to our appointment policy. Those who violate this policy more than once will no longer be permitted.
Check-in
We continue to offer clean "touch free" check-in and check-out options including the option to fill out electronic client forms and pay on your own phone through the Vagaro app. We have reserved adequate time for you and are committed to respecting all of our guests by staying on time while also carrying out full cleaning and disinfecting protocols.
